What to do next

Back in the day, the psychic woman mentioned that the girl sitting next to me would end up helping me in some way. Her name was Amy, and, interestingly enough, Amy actually lives right here in town (how convenient is that?). I guess sometimes life surprises you, and I’ll definitely take all the help I can get.

Here’s the thing, I was finally able to find Amy’s contact info, but now I’m wondering—what exactly should I say to her?

“Hi Amy, remember psychic woman from 1985—she said you were going to help me.”

“Hi Amy, I’ve been meaning to reconnect with you regarding some psychic woman stuff from 40 years ago.”

“Hi Amy, remember the 1985 psychic who said you'd help me? I've been meaning to reconnect about that.”

All that sounds really stupid to me, honestly. The thing about my story is that some parts make me feel incredibly foolish whenever I try to explain them. Still, I have to do it one way or another, no matter how awkward it feels. I left her a voicemail back in February (or thereabouts), but, unsurprisingly, she didn’t call me back. So now I’m going to try sending her a letter this time, hoping it gets through. Either way, this whole situation really sucks, but to move forward and take the next step…it would be really nice if I got ahold of Amy.
